December 14 - 15
You almost had to know this would happen...
reign at the top went unchallenged for
far too long. Now, with only 2 weeks left in the contest,
pulls even with
looking to finish off this season the same way he did last year. He bridged the two-game gap
by scoring a brilliant 15-1 record this week. That amazing record relegates everyone else's
record to mere mediocrity, even though no one got less than 11 wins. Well, almost no one...
forgot to send in his picks this week, making him this year's first true goat.
in two ways: First,
no longer sits at the bottom of the rankings, though
he tries hard to stay there. Second, while
had a lock on being the first player to soak up 100 losses,
instead earns that dubious honor. The picks amongst everyone were pretty
uniform this week, with very little difference. We had multiple universally correct picks:
KC, Tampa, New England, St Louis, Carolina, GB, and New Orleans. The correct upset predictions
who nabbed Chicago over Minnesota, and
who alone picked Oakland's win over Baltimore. But there are more ugly picks, for sure.
failed by taking Houston over Tampa Bay,
alone botched the Buf / Ten pick, only
goofed by taking Cleveland over Denver, and
went solo in wrongly picking against Dallas. So, with only
32 games left to pick, will
win outright for a second year in a row? The momentum
certainly seems to be in his favor...
